Nathan believes the most powerful films come from real moments, not perfect performances. Drawn to genuine connection, authentic emotion, and the beauty of everyday life, he approaches every project with curiosity, warmth, and a deep appreciation for people and their stories.
Originally from the Midwest and now proudly rooted on Oregon's North Coast, Nathan finds inspiration in the rugged coastline, changing weather, and the communities that make the Pacific Northwest feel like home.
He has been married to his wife, Kate, since 1998, is the proud father of Isabella, and shares life with Juniper, their rescue staffy.
At Salt & Soul Films, his goal is simple: create films that feel honest, meaningful, and worth watching for years to come.

Born and raised in Hawaii, Jameson spent more than a decade creating cinematic films and documenting hundreds of weddings before making Oregon's North Coast his home. His work is driven by a simple belief: the most meaningful stories are the honest ones.
Known for his warmth, creativity, and ability to put people at ease, Jameson specializes in capturing genuine emotion and transforming life's most important moments into films worth revisiting for years to come.
When he's away from the camera, he enjoys time with his wife, Serena, volunteering in the community, singing karaoke, and serving on the Board of Directors for the Cannon Beach History Center & Museum.
For Jameson, filmmaking isn't just about documenting a moment—it's about preserving a feeling.
